③ I have visited Mt. Zao on many occasions, albeit for research or leisure, but on this lucky day I was finally blessed with a clear view of the Okama crater itself. It was breathtaking to see it in its full glory, imagining the forces that mother nature must have unleashed to shape this beautiful landscape. It is mind boggling how insignificant a single human being is in comparison. While humanity as a whole can achieve great things, nature outperforms us with ease.
